Inspiring Characters
Maplelea Girls™ are from six different regions of Canada: the Rockies, rural prairies, urban Ontario, the Maritimes, Quebec and northern Canada. Each character has a distinctive personality, strong values, and empowering stories to tell. Although these characters celebrate a variety of lifestyles, activities, and interests, they all share a special spirit and imagination, a sense of adventure, and a satisfaction with being just who they are at this time of their lives.

Exceptional Craftsmanship
Maplelea Girls™ are 46cm (18") vinyl play dolls, quality crafted to resemble porcelain, but with the durability of vinyl. They are designed with exceptional detail: their hands can hold a variety of accessories, their hair is long, bountiful and meant to be fashioned in endless styles, and their feet are flat, enabling each doll to "stand on her own two feet". Ball joints at hips and shoulders provide a range of motion, and soft torsos make them comfortable to hold.

Every Maplelea™ girl comes dressed in a striking starter outfit in a sturdy decorative storage box with a keepsake journal. A range of clothing and accessories that reflect each Maplelea Girl’s interests and personal fashion style are available, along with furniture and accessories suitable for all characters.

Keepsake Journal
Each doll is accompanied by a 64-page keepsake journal. The first half introduces the doll character and the second half provides an opportunity for the real girl to record her own personal thoughts and particulars. This journal imparts subtle factual information about Canada's geography, heritage and culture. All content references are authentic, and spelling is Canadian. The journal also expands to accept additional pages.

Additional collector pages enhance the keepsake journal and are included with Maplelea accessory outfits. Like the journal, the collector pages are written in the doll's own words and art style. These pages feature activities, anecdotes and information.

Each doll includes both a French and English version of the journal. The Saila doll also includes an Inuktitut version.

Designer Outfits
An assortment of beautifully detailed clothing and accessories have been designed for each character. Ensembles include sports outfits, party dresses, casual seasonal wear, coats, pajamas, swimwear, and undergarments. These fashions feature a subtle Canadian flair and new items are released regularly. All clothing is interchangeable and sized to fit all Maplelea dolls.
