Rules for Maplelea Girls PHOTO CONTEST 2009

1. To be considered, photos must be received by June 15, 2009.

2. The person submitting the photo warrants that permission to submit the photo has been obtained from all persons identifiable in the photo.

3. All entries become the property of Avonlea Traditions Inc./Maplelea Girls. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.

4. By submitting the image(s) the entrant assigns Avonlea Traditions Inc. the exclusive right to use any image for advertising and promotional purposes and waives all moral rights to those images.

5. By submitting an entry to this contest, the entrant represents, warrants and undertakes to Avonlea Traditions Inc. that the photo is either the entrant’s original work, or that the entrant has obtained consent from the photographer to submit the photo.

6. The entrant also represents, warrants and undertakes that submitting the photo does not violate any rights of third parties including copyright and other intellectual property rights.

7. Entries must be in jpg format.

8. Each entrant may submit up to five photos.

9. We strongly prefer that images are submitted on-line at www.maplelea.com. However, images may be mailed on a CD to:

10. Please label your CD and provide the information about the photo(s) that is listed on our website entry form. On-line and mailed entries must be received by June 15, 2009.

11. One $50 gift certificate will be awarded to each individual who submits a winning photo.

12. A minimum of 20 photos will be chosen. Most winning photos will be used for the Holiday 2009 catalogue, but winning photos may also be used for other advertising and promotional purposes by Avonlea Traditions Inc., such as on the website or in advertisements. Once a photo has been selected as a winner, the photo may be used an unlimited number of times by Avonlea Traditions Inc.

13. Only those whose photos are selected as winners will be contacted. We thank everyone for submitting their contributions.
